Collaboration with Alessandro Mendini
Milanese architect and designer, Alessandro Mendini has mainly dealt with neo-modern and contemporary design and architecture. The focus of his research is on the design of architecture, environments, furniture and installations. With Sottsass and Branzi he is the promoter of the renewal of Italian design, with Studio Alchimia, a radical design group and together with Memphis he creates objects, furniture, installations and architecture. He subsequently opens the Atelier Mendini with his brother Francesco, where he continues his activity as a designer as an architect and designer.
The architect Debora Passaleva worked with Alessandro Mendini mainly on architectural projects of new construction and renovation and interior architecture, abroad and in Italy.
The most significant projects on which the Debora Passaleva worked are: the new television headquarters for the Mediengruppe Madsach publishing house in Hannover, office building for the glass company Henry Glass in Mansuè Treviso, office building for the Bovisa Tech pole in Milan, Naples Metro stations Materdei and Salvator Rosa and the renovation of a seventeenth-century villa converted into an art hotel for the Byblos fashion company.
